Emirates brings future of air travel to Dubai Airshow 2025
Visitors to experience AI-driven airport technologies in real time
DUBAI – Emirates is set to make a significant impression at the Dubai Airshow 2025, presenting an extensive array of aircraft, technological innovations, and sustainability-focused initiatives.
The airline will exhibit its full commercial fleet: Airbus A380, Boeing 777, and the recently added Airbus A350. The Emirates Flight Training Academy will also display its Gamebird GB1 and Diamond DA42-VI aircraft on static display throughout the event.
The Airshow, taking place at Dubai World Central from 17 to 21 November, will see thousands of aviation enthusiasts, industry leaders, and visitors gather to witness the latest developments in aerospace and air travel.
Smart technologies
Emirates’ exhibition stand will immerse visitors in the future of air travel, featuring advanced AI-powered experiences. A highlight is the Smart Corridor, a biometric gateway verifying passenger identities in real time, eliminating the need for passports or boarding passes. Additionally, Emirates’ Biometric Selfie Registration, available via the Emirates App, allows passengers to check in with ease.
The airline’s AI-Enhanced Customer Handling will demonstrate real-time passenger tracking using IoT cameras, improving operational efficiency and offering personalised services. This system, powered by NVIDIA AI infrastructure, will initially be trialled at the First Class Check-in Area in Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport before being expanded to Emirates Lounges across all concourses.
Another innovation, the Smart Skies Turbulence Management system, uses a multi-layered approach to reduce the impact of severe turbulence, enhancing passenger comfort, safety, and operational efficiency.
Upcycled creations
Emirates’ Aircrafted by Emirates initiative continues to expand its sustainability focus. The Atelier Collection introduces the Morphing Coffee Table, while the Maintenance Collection showcases practical prototypes such as The Tricycle, The Mechanic Apron, and The Tool Belt. Each product is crafted from durable, high-performance materials and designed for functional repurposing.
The airline will also display previous collections, highly sought after by aviation enthusiasts. The Aircrafted KIDS – Fabric Collection has distributed more than 3,700 backpacks to schoolchildren in Africa and Asia, while the Leather Collection offers premium travel bags available online through the Emirates Official Store.
Sustainable onboard products will also be on display, including Business Class loungewear made from botanic fibres, Emirates’ VOYA comfort and beauty items, and Economy Class blankets crafted from recycled plastic bottles.
Flying display
Emirates will open the Airshow’s first afternoon flying display with a spectacular formation of the Airbus A350, A380, and Boeing 777, joined by other UAE-based commercial airlines.
The demonstration will provide attendees with an up-close look at the airline’s flagship aircraft in action, marking the start of a week-long celebration of aviation innovation and industry collaboration.
